Frequently asked questions
How does the game work?
You and your opponent each have a stack of cards. Whoever's turn it is picks a stat on their top card. The better value wins both cards. An arrow ↓ means the lower value wins here, for example for weight or 0–100 km/h. Whoever ends up with all the cards wins. You'll find the full rules in the app under the "?" in the top right corner.
What happens in a tie?
The cards of that round go to the middle of the table, and the same player picks again. Whoever wins the next round also gets the cards from the middle.
Do I need an account or internet?
You don't need an account. You do need an internet connection, because the rounds are decided on our server.
Can I play against friends?
Not yet. For now you play against the computer, on "Easy" or "Normal". Multiplayer is in the works.
How much do the decks cost?
Hypercars is free. Dinosaurs, Aircraft and Solar System cost CHF 2.00 each, or CHF 5.00 for all three in the Explorer pack. In other countries the App Store or Google Play shows your local price. More decks are planned; tell us which theme you'd like.
How do I get purchased decks on a new device?
Sign in on the new device with the same Apple or Google account and tap “Restore purchases” in the deck selection. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google.
Which languages are available?
English, German, French and Portuguese. The app follows your device language; you can also pick one yourself with the globe icon on the home screen.
Is the car data accurate?
The values come from published manufacturer data and specialist sources and are rounded. If you spot a mistake, let us know.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app, and it no longer knows your random ID. If you also want the anonymous account and your games on the server deleted right away, write to us, see privacy policy.
